Öğretmenlerin akıllı tahta kullanımına karşı tutumlarının teknoloji kabul modeline göre incelenmesi

Abstract

Bu araştırma, ilköğretim ve ortaöğretimde görev yapan öğretmenlerin ülkemizde de okullarda yaygınlaştırılması planlanan akıllı tahtaların kullanımına yönelik algılarının akıllı tahtaları kullanım niyetlerine etkisini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır.Araştırma betimsel nitelikte olup tarama modelinde yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın bağımlı değişkenlerinin oluşturan AF, AKK ve KN `nin KUN `a etkisini ve bu değişkenlerin cinsiyet, yaş, branş, çalıştığı kurum ve meslek deneyimlerine göre farklılaşmanın olup olmadığını belirlemeye yönelik analizler yapılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubu 2010-2011 öğretim yılında Düzce ilinin Akçakoca ilçesinde ilköğretim ve ortaöğretim kurumlarında görev yapan toplam 230 öğretmenden oluşmaktadır. Öğretmenlerin seçiminde basit rastgele örnekleme yöntemi tercih edilmiştir. Çalışma grubu öğretmenlerinin öncelikle akıllı tahta kullanımını bilmeleri gerektiğinden, öğretmenlerden akıllı tahta kullanımını bilmeyenlere yönelik İlçe Milli Eğitim Müdürlüğü tarafından 2010-2011 öğretim yılının birinci döneminde Akıllı Tahta Kursu `na gönüllü katılmaları sağlanmıştır. Öğretim yılının ikinci döneminde öğretmenlerin akıllı tahtaları derslerinde kullanmaları beklenmiş, dönem sonunda ise verileri toplamak amacıyla hazırlanan Akıllı Tahtayı Kabul ve Kullanım Niyeti Ölçeği öğretmenlere uygulanmıştır.Araştırmanın sonucunda öğretmenlerin akıllı tahta kullanımına yönelik AF, AKK ve KN `nin KUN `a doğrusal yönde etkisinin olduğu belirlenmiştir. Öğretmenlerin AF, AKK, KN ve KUN `da cinsiyete, branşlarına ve çalıştıkları kuruma göre bir farklılık bulunmadığı; AF, KN ve KUN `da yaşlara ve meslek deneyimlerine göre farklılaşmanın bulunmadığı ancak AKK `da yaşlara ve meslek deneyimlerine göre birtakım farklılaşmanın olduğu belirlenmiştir.Anahtar Kelimeler:Akıllı tahta, teknoloji kabul modeli, kullanım niyeti

This research was done to detect the effect of the perceptions of the teachers working in the primary schools and secondary schools towards the usage of the smartboards,planned to be used generally in the schools, on their intention to use the smartboards. The research, being in a descriptional kind, was done using screening model. Some analyses were done to detect the effect of PU, PEU and SN making up the dependent variables of the research, over IU and whether these variables diffirentiate depending on the gender, age, profession, the institution and professional experiences. The research team consists of 230 teachers having worked in the primary and the secondary schools in Akçakoca/DÜZCE during the academic year of 2010-2011. The simple sampling system was preferred to choose the attendees. First of all, the teachers have to know how to use the smartboard. So, the voluntary attendence of the teachers into the Smartboard Course, for the ones who does not know how to use them, provided by the District National Education Directorate was accomplished in the 1st term of 2010-2011 academic year. The teachers were expected to use the smartboards in the classes during the 2nd term of the academic year and at the end of the term a questionaire on their acceptence and intention to use the smartboard was applied to the attendees to pick up outputs.At the end of the research the fact was detected that PU, PEU and SN have a direct effect over IU for the teachers to use the smartboard. It was also detected that there is no diffirentiation in PU, PEU, SN and IU depending on the gender, profession and the institution where the teachers work; there is no diffirentiation in PU, SN and IU depending on the ages and the professional experiences but there is a set of diffirentiation in PEU depending on the ages and their professional experiences.Keywords:Smartboards, Technology Acceptence Model, Intention To Use
