Üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik niyeti ile işsizlik kaygısı arasındaki ilişki

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi lisans ve ön lisans son sınıf öğrencilerinin girişimcilik niyeti ve işsizlik kaygısı düzeylerini belirlemek, üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik niyetinde, işsizlik kaygılarında ve alt boyutlarında demografik ve eğitimle ilgili özelliklere göre anlamlı fark olup olmadığını saptamak ve üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik niyeti ile işsizlik kaygısı ve alt boyutları arasındaki ilişki düzeyini saptamaktır. Bu araştırma ilişkisel tarama modelinde yapılmış, araştırmanın evrenini 2017-2018 eğitim-öğretim yılında Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit Üniversitesi'nde öğrenim gören 3200 lisans ve ön lisans son sınıf öğrencileri oluşturmuş, 661 katılımcı ile araştırma sonuçlandırılmıştır. Bu çalışma ile ilgili nicel verilerde Girişimcilik Niyeti Ölçeği, İşsizlik Kaygısı Ölçeği ve Kişisel Bilgi Formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırma sonucunda elde edilen bulgulara göre öğrencilerin işsizlik kaygısı düzeylerinde anlamlı fark ortaya çıkmamış fakat girişimcilik niyeti düzeylerinde istatistiksel olarak anlamlı fark ortaya çıkmıştır; lisans mezuniyetli öğrencilerin girişimcilik niyeti düzeylerinin ön lisans mezuniyetlilerden daha yüksek olduğu sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Son sınıf öğrencilerinin girişimcilik niyetinin cinsiyet, çocuk sırası, ailede ticaretle uğraşan birinin olup olmaması, şu anda kalınan yer, annenin eğitim durumu, ailenin aylık geliri, eğitim alınan bölüm değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği, işsizlik kaygılarının ise belli bir iş deneyimi ve süresi değişkenine göre anlamlı bir farklılık gösterdiği sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Üniversite öğrencilerinin girişimcilik niyeti ile işsizlik kaygısı ve alt boyutlarında ise anlamlı bir fark ortaya çıkmamıştır. The aim of our study is to determine the levels of unemployment anxiety and entrepreneur-ial intention of senior undergraduate and associate degree students Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University, to determine whether there is a significant difference in university stu-dents' entrepreneurial intention, unemployment concerns and sub-dimensions according to demographic and educational characteristics, and to detect the level of relationship be-tween unemployment anxiety and its sub-dimensions. This research was carried out in relational survey model, the population of the research was 3200 undergraduate and associate undergraduate senior students studying at Zonguldak Bülent Ecevit University in 2017-2018 academic year and the research was finalized with 661 participants. In the quantitative data related to this study Entrepreneurial Intention Scale, Unemployment Anxiety Scale and Personal Information Form were used. According to the findings of the research, there was no significant difference in the unemployment anxiety levels of the students but there was a statistically significant difference in entrepreneurial intention levels; it is concluded that entrepreneurship intention levels of undergraduate students are higher than associate degree graduates. Entrepreneurship inten-tion of senior students has a significant difference in terms of gender, child rank, the exist-ence of someone interested in trade in the family, place of residence, mother's educational status, monthly income of the family, and the department, unemployment anxiety of them has a significant difference according to a certain work experience and duration. There was no significant difference in entrepreneurial intention and unemployment anxiety and sub-dimensions of university students.
