Abstract

Conclusion: Peritoneal drain is unnecessary for the postoperative management of patients undergoing laparoscopic decortication of Bosniak type 1 RCs. Moreover, peritoneal drain may cause delayed bowel movement because of peritoneal irritation, which can result in delayed discharge time.
