Antienflamatuar and antiadhesive effect of clioquinol

Abstract

Conclusions: Clioquinol could reduce the formation of intra-abdominal adhesions. It exerts this activity by limiting the inflammation and fibroblastic activity between the intestines and serous surfaces. Furthermore, it does not induce a foreign body reaction.
