Abstract:

Conclusion: A. xylosoxidans are rare but may cause severe, resistant infections in patients with immunosuppressive and other underlying diseases. A. xylosoxidans are considered to be present in normal flora, but should not be ignored, especially in the presence of underlying risk factors.
