Abstract:
In this study, benthic macro-in vertebrate samples and water samples were taken from the deep faunas of 5 defined stations of the Mudurnu River. These macro-invertebrate samples were identified on the level of families. Biochemical Oxygen Demand (BOD), Chemical Oxygen Demand (COD), Total Kjeldahl Nitrogen (TKN), Phenol, Ammonium-Nitrogen (NH4+-N), Nitrate-Nitrogen (NO3--N) and Phosphate-Phosphorous (PO4-3-P) chemical and organic parameter analysis were done on the water samples and the relation of these parameters with the benthic macro-invertebrates were examined by using the t-test with the help of the package software SPSS 13.0. As a result, 33 benthic macro-Invertebrate families were identified in deep fauna. Benthic macro-invertebrate families were affected by high values of 7 chemical and orcanic parameters.
