dc.description.abstract	In this study, the effects of mechanical properties for plate's material on the linear free vibrations and the free nonlinear vibrations are investigated using symmetrical modes considering three different types of composite plates. The effects of the mechanical properties of the plate materials on the plate vibrations are shown. The analysis is performed via a simulation program written in Matlab and the finite element method is used.
