Muhabbet-nâme, with the meaning of word, is "letter of love." In our literature, when we say muhabbet-nâme reminds us works on the subject divine Jove. Sufficient studies have not been made yet. The work on which we are studying is Seyyid Mudadfs Muhabbet-nâme. It is registered at the Department of Mihrişah Sultan with the number 360 in the library of Süleymaniye in Istanbul. It is written in Ottoman Turkish Language and alphabet with nesih writing as nazım (a kind of writing style), it is a handwriting work consist of 324 papers and 648 pages. It is vowel pointed and in order, sensitive and has fluency style of writing. From time to time it has language, orthografic, rhyme and measure mistakes. The author has determind this situation at the end of book in title 393. Work, consists of five parts, monotheism, münacat (silent and fervent prayer),eulogy, praising and history. According to its subject is a religious and ethical work at the same time it has a didactic and ethical specialty. In the work there are arabic and persian words, and comlements, in spite of this it is generally written with a simple and fluent language. It has an easily comprehensible characteristic. Artistically, strong comparisons and allusions draws attention. As contents, loving to come together with his beloved, his wishes and the answer of the beloved to this, sufferings of the way of love are being told in this work. Seyyid Muradı, in the point of language, religion knowledge is sufficient and in the point of art is conpetent and at the same lime he is a mystical personnality trying to tell his work in sincerity. It is understood that he is aporaising the events under a mystical angle. In our study, we aimed to transfer a new text to our literature from an old and original handwriting work. That is why, our work was tranlated from Ottoman Turkish alphabet into our nowadays Latin alphabet and transformed into a text with transcription. A general avaluation of this obtained text was made in the point of view language, from and content. Work, totally consists of 394 litles. (1)
