dc.description.abstract In this work, composite zinc oxide/lanthanum hydroxide crystal powder (50:50 %) has been synthesized using the sol-gel technology. The crystal formed powder has been obtained at 1000 A degrees C annealing temperature for a duration of 6 h. This powder has been compressed to get a disk of 10 mm in diameter and 2 mm in thickness. The X-ray diffraction spectrum has been taken to see the formation of crystal phases. The humidity/impedance/frequency relation of the sample has been given and elaborated. Sensitivity/frequency dependency and response-recovery measurements for the sample have been carried out and analysed.
