Yeni Türk Edebiyatında Hikâye Eleştirisi (1950-1970) = Short Story Criticism in Modern Turkish Literature (1950-1970)

Abstract

Bu çalışmanın amacı, Türk edebiyatında hikâye eleştirisinin, genel edebî eleştiri içindeki yerini ve önemini ortaya koymaktır. Bu çerçevede, hikâye eleştirisinde öne çıkan, tema, konu, yöntem ve eğilimler ile hikâye eleştirisi yazarlarını belirlemek hedeflenmiştir. Hikâye eleştirisinin, Türk hikâyeciliğinin değişimi ve gelişiminde ne derece âmil bir rol oynamış olabileceğini doğru anlamak, hikâye formunun gelişme çizgisinde eleştirinin katkılarını ortaya koymak, Türk hikâyeciliğine dönemin eleştirisinin gözünden bakmak ve bu bakışın mahiyetini araştırmak, ayrıca hikâyenin de dönemin eleştirisini nasıl etkilemiş ve yönlendirmiş olabileceğini incelemek, bu çalışmanın amaçlarındandır. Kaynakların çokluğu sebebiyle, çalışmada öncelikle alanın sınırlandırılması yapılmıştır. Bu itibarla çalışma, 1950-1970 yılları arası ve dönemin etkili kültür, sanat, edebiyat dergileri ile sınırlandırılmıştır. Söz konusu dergilere ulaşılarak hikâye ile ilgili yazılar tespit edilmiştir. Söz konusu yazılar, içerik analizi yöntemiyle incelenmiş ve bunların belli konu ve temalar üzerinde yoğunlaştıkları görülmüştür. Çalışmanın ilk bölümünde eleştiri ve hikâye konusu, kavram, kuram ve tarihî bakımlardan ele alınmıştır. İkinci bölümde hikâyeyi tür ve yapı bakımından ele alan, hikâyeye teorik ve teknik bakımdan yaklaşan yazılar incelenmiştir. Üçüncü bölümde doğrudan hikâye yazarları ve onların hikâyeleri ve hikâyeciliklerine odaklanan yazılara yer verilmiştir. Dördüncü bölümde ise 1950-1970 yılları arasında hikâye ile ilgili öne çıkan çeşitli mesele ve tartışma konuları üzerinde durulmuştur. Hikâye eleştirisi ile ilgili 1950-1970 yılları arasında, belirlenen kültür, sanat ve edebiyat dergileri incelendiğinde, hikâye eleştirisinin dönemin hikâyesine yön verdiği görülmüştür. Bu dönemde hikâyenin de çok güçlü olduğu bilinmektedir. Bu yüzden, söz konusu dönemdeki eleştiriler üzerinde, hikâye ve hikâyecilerin de etkili olduğu gözlenmiştir.

The aim of this study is to reveal the place and importance of short story criticism in Turkish literature within general literary criticism. In this context, it is aimed to determine the prominent themes, subjects, methods and tendencies in short story criticism and the writers of short story criticism. To understand correctly how short story criticism may have played an important role in the change and development of Turkish short story writing, to reveal the contributions of criticism in the development of the short story form, to look at Turkish short story writing through the eyes of the criticism of the period and to investigate the nature of this view, and also to examine the short story's criticism of the period. One of the aims of this study is to examine how it may have influenced and directed the issue. Due to the abundance of sources, the field was first limited in the study. In this respect, the study is limited to the years 1950-1970 and the influential culture, art and literature magazines of the period. The magazines in question were accessed and articles related to the short story were identified. The articles in question were examined using the content analysis method and it was seen that they focused on certain topics and themes. In the first part of the study, the subject of criticism and short stories is discussed in terms of concept, theory and history. In the second part, articles that deal with the short story in terms of genre and structure and approach the short story from a theoretical and technical perspective were examined. In the third section, articles focusing directly on short story writers and their short stories and short storytelling are included. In the fourth chapter, various prominent issues and debates regarding the short story between 1950 and 1970 are discussed. When the culture, art and literature magazines regarding short story criticism were examined between 1950 and 1970, it was seen that short story criticism shaped the short story of the period. It is known that the short story was also very powerful in this period. Therefore, it has been observed that short story and short story writers were also influential on the criticisms of the period in question.
