Covid-19 salgını sürecinde uzaktan eğitimde yaşanan sorunlar ve çözüm önerileri (Hendek örneği) = Problems and suggestions in distance education during the Covid-19 pandemic (Hendek sample)

Abstract

Uzaktan eğitim, bilgi ve iletişim teknolojilerinin insanlara sunduğu imkânlar ve teknolojik araçlar kullanılarak fiziksel etkileşim olmaksızın eğitim ve öğretim faaliyetlerinin uygulanmasıdır. Günümüzün küresel dünyasında teknolojinin hızla gelişmesi ve dinamik süreçler, geleneksel eğitim sisteminin de değişmesine sebep olmuştur. Eğitim paradigmalarındaki değişimler sonucunda eğitim ortamlarında, öğretim yaklaşımlarında, ders materyallerinde, öğrenme yöntem ve tekniklerinde oluşan farklılaşmalar, geleneksel eğitim sisteminin yerini uzaktan eğitim sistemine bırakmasına sebep olmuştur. Özellikle 2020 yılında ortaya çıkan Covid-19 pandemi süreciyle birlikte tüm dünyadaki eğitim sistemi değişmeye mecbur kalmıştır. Ancak uzaktan eğitime pandemi ile aniden katılan yöneticiler, öğretmenler, veliler ve öğrenciler açısından bazı sorunlar ve sınırlılıklar bulunmaktadır. Bu bakımdan eğitimli bireylerin yetişebilmesi ve eğitimin sürekliliğinin sağlanabilmesi için, eğitim sektöründe görev yapan ya da uzaktan eğitimden faydalanan öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerin, velilerin ve öğrencilerin karşılaştığı sorunların giderilmesi önem taşımaktadır. Bu paydaşların süreç boyunca birbirleriyle iletişim kurarken yaşadıkları problemleri, bu konularda hissettikleri sınırlılıkları belirlemek, eğitim faaliyetlerinin değerlendirilmesi ve iyileştirilmesi açısından önem arz etmektedir. Araştırmada öğretmenlerin, yöneticilerin, velilerin ve öğrencilerin uzaktan eğitim sürecinde karşılaştığı sorunların neler olduğu tespit edilerek, bu sorunlara yönelik çözüm yöntemleri bulunması amaçlanmaktadır. Yapılan görüşmeler sonucu nitel analiz yöntemlerinden doküman analizi kullanılarak yapılan araştırmanın sonucunda, katılımcıların en fazla vurguladığı konuların, öğrenciye destek olunamaması, öğrenci - öğretmen-arkadaş etkileşiminin olamaması, sosyalleşememe, teknoloji ve internet altyapısındaki eksiklikler, öğrenci takibinin yapılamaması, EBA bağlantısında sorunlar, rehberlik desteği ihtiyacı, ders sunumunda ve bilgiyi aktarmadaki zorluklar ve fırsat eşitsizliği olduğu tespit edilmiştir. In today's global world, the rapid development of technology and dynamic processes have also caused the traditional education system to change. Especially with the Covid-19 pandemic process that emerged in 2020, the education system all over the world had to change. As a result of the changes in educational paradigms, the differences in educational environments, teaching approaches, course materials, learning methods and techniques have caused the traditional education system to be replaced by the distance education system. Distance education is the implementation of education and training activities without physical interaction by using the opportunities and technological tools offered to people by information and communication technologies. However, distance education has some problems and limitations in terms of administrators, teachers, parents and students. In this respect, it is important to eliminate the problems faced by teachers, administrators, parents and students who work in the education sector or benefit from distance education in order to raise educated individuals and ensure the continuity of education. It is important to identify the problems these stakeholders experience while communicating with each other throughout the process, and the limitations they feel on these issues, in terms of evaluating and improving educational activities. In the research, it is aimed to determine the problems faced by teachers, administrators, parents and students in the distance education process and to find solution methods for these problems. As a result of the research conducted using document analysis, one of the qualitative analysis methods as a result of the interviews, the most emphasized issues by the participants were the inability to support the student, the lack of student-teacher-friend interaction, the inability to socialize, the deficiencies in technology and internet infrastructure, the inability to follow the students, the problems in the EBA connection, the need for guidance support, there are difficulties in course presentation and transfer of knowledge, and inequality of opportunity.
