Sözcük Dağarcığını Zenginleştirme Etkinliği Olarak Deyim Öğretimi: Gösteri Tekniği Uygulaması

Abstract

Bu araştırmanın amacı, ilköğretim ikinci kademe Türkçe derslerindeki deyim öğretiminde gösteri tekniği kullanımının öğrenci başarısına etkisini belirlemektir. Araştırmada deneysel yöntem kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın çalışma grubunu, İstanbul ili Gaziosmanpaşa ilçesindeki bir ilköğretim okulunda öğrenim gören 80 öğrenci oluşturmaktadır. Çalışmada öğrencilerin bağlamdan hareketle deyimlerin anlamını belirlemesine yönelik akademik başarı testi kullanılmıştır. Veriler nicel analiz tekniğiyle analiz edilmiştir. Araştırma sonucunda gösteri tekniğiyle yapılan deyim öğretiminin geleneksel yönteme göre daha etkili olduğu belirlenmiştir.

The purpose of this research study is to determine the effect of the demonstration technique when used in Turkish lessons to teach idioms upon the achievement of lower secondary school (which is part of the primary education system in Turkey) students. Experimental method is used in this study. The sample in the present study consists of 80 students who were studying either in state lower secondary schools at Karlıtepe primary school at Gaziosmanpaşa in İstanbul. In this study, academic achievement test that students move from the context of the study aims to determine the meaning of the phrase is used. The data were analyzed with quantitative analysis techniques. Research results show the demonstration technique is more effective than the traditional method of teaching idiom that has been identified.
