ÖZET Bu proje çalışmasında, ileri oksidasyon/batık ultrafiltrasyon (İOP/UF) hibrit prosesine dayalı geliştirilen konvansiyonel esaslı etkinliği bilinen ve önerilen yenilikçi endüstriyel atıksu arıtma sistemlerinin; yoğun su tüketimli kâğıt ve tekstil endüstrilerinden kaynaklanan atıksulardan yüksek oranda kaliteli proses suyu geri kazanımının ve oluşan membran konsantresi atık yüklerinin azaltılarak konsantre yönetiminin sağlandığı bütünleşik su yönetimi uygulamaları için, teknolojik olarak sahada başarıyla uygulanabilirlik ve ekonomik olarak da mali tercih edilebilirliklerinin belirlenmesi amaçlanmıştır. Laboratuvar arıtım çalışmalarıyla, hibrit İOP/UF prosesinin tekstil ve kağıt atıksuları için optimum işletim şartları belirlenmiş; her bir atıksu için etkinliği bilinen ve önerilen sistemlerin pilot ölçek kararlı hal işletim performansları tespit edilmiştir. Konvansiyonel basınç sürücülü membran sistemlerde her bir atıksu çeşidi ve önerilen sistemlerde (İOP/UF sonrası NFsıkı, TO ve NFgevşek/TO) sadece tekstil atıksuyu için hedeflenen yeniden kullanım suyu kalitelerinin sağlandığı işletimler yerine getirilmiştir. Kâğıt atıksuyu için, önerilen sistemlerle etkin su geri kazanımı sağlanamamış; İOP/UF sonrasında membran distilasyon uygulaması hedef çıkış suyunun üretildiği teknolojik çözüm olmuştur. Yenilikçi çözümlerin işletimleri, İOP/UF’te “konsantre+ham atıksu”’yun eşzamanlı arıtımları altında, herhangi bir atık oluşturmaksızın gerçekleştirilmiştir. Membran konsantrelerinin, sıfır/sıfıra yakın sıvı deşarjı uyarınca sahada bertaraflarının yapılacağı yönetimleri üzerinden, saha ölçek benzeştirmeler gerçekleştirilmiş ve gerçek ölçek maliyetler tahmin edilmiştir. En ekonomik çözüm olan sıfıra yakın deşarjda, 1000 mg KOİ/L eşdeğeri atıksular için; konvansiyonel esaslı yenilikçi uygulamalarda (konsantrelerin İOP/UF ile arıtıldığı) 1,8 $/m3 ve geliştirilen yenilikçi uygulamalarda 0,6 $/m3 geri kazanım suyu ile, endüstriyel atıksulardan su geri kazanımı/konsantre yönetiminin sahada oldukça tercih edilir ortalama birim maliyetlerdedir. 1000 mg KOİ/L eşdeğeri üzeri atıksular için, geliştirilen sistemlerin konvansiyonel arıtma sonrası ileri arıtma uygulamasıyla, sahada tekno-ekonomik tercih edilebilir olacağı ayrıca değerlendirilmektedir. Sonuç olarak, yoğun su tüketilen endüstriler için geliştirilen teknolojik çözümlerin hayata geçirilmesiyle, Ülkemiz ve Dünya genelinde su kirlenmesi problemlerinin azaltılmasına ve temiz su kaynaklarının ve çevrenin sürdürülebilir korunmasına önemli katkılar sağlanacak; saha ölçek kurulum ve endüstriyel işletimler sayesinde yeni yatırım ve istihdamlara katkı sağlanmış olunacaktır.
ABSTRACT In this project work; it is aimed to determine the technologically field applicability and the economically financial feasibility of the conventional-based activity-known and proposed innovative industrial wastewater treatment systems developed based on the advanced oxidation/submerged ultrafiltration (AOP/UF) hybrid process for integrated water management applications provided, by recovery of high quality process water from wastewater generated from intensive water-consuming paper and textile industries, and by enabling concentrate management through decreasing the waste loads of membrane concentrates. With laboratory treatment studies, optimal operating conditions for textile and paper wastewaters of the hybrid AOP/UF process have been determined; the pilot scale steady state operation performances of the known and proposed systems for each wastewater have been established. In conventional pressure-driven membrane systems for each wastewater type and the proposed systems only for textile wastewater (NFtight, TO and NFloose/TO after AOP/UF), the operations supplying the reuse water qualities targeted have been carried out.Effective water recovery for paper wastewater has not been achieved with systems recommended; membrane distillation application after AOP/UF has been the technological solution to produce the target effluent. The operations of the innovative solutions were realized under simultaneous treatments of concentrate+raw wastewater in AOP/UF without any waste. Field scale simulations have been carried out and real scale costs have been estimated through the management of membrane concentrates under the zero/near zero liquid discharge to manage site disposal. For the most economical solution, near zero discharge, 1000 mg KOİ/L equivalent wastewaters; the average unit costs of water recycling from industrial wastewater/concentrate management are highly preferable with the conventional innovative applications (concentrates treated with AOP/UF) at $ 1.8/m3 and the developed innovative applications at $ 0.6/m3 of reuse water. For equivalent wastewaters having >1000 mg COD/L, the developed systems will also be evaluated to be techno-economical in the field, with advanced treatment after conventional treatment. As a result, with the realization of the technological solutions developed for intensive waterconsuming industries, significant contributions will be made to reducing the problems of water pollution in our country and worldwide, and in the sustainable protection of clean water resources and environment; Field scale installation and industrial operations will contribute to new investment and employments.
