Bu çalışmada 2015-2019 yılları arasında matematik eğitimi alanında yayınlanan ölçek geliştirme ve uyarlama makalelerinin incelenmesi amaçlanmıştır. İçerik analizi yöntemi ile yürütülen araştırmada Türkiye’de eğitim alanında yayınlanan 25 dergide yer alan 28 ölçek geliştirme ve 16 ölçek uyarlama makalesi “Değerlendirme Formu” kullanılarak incelenmiştir. Ölçek geliştirme ve ölçek uyarlama sürecine dair örneklem seçim yöntemi, kayıp veriler gibi birçok noktada detaylı bilgi ve raporlama eksikliği olan makalelerin sayıca fazla olduğu görülmüştür. Ölçek uyarlama makalelerinde madde sayısı arttıkça örneklem büyüklüğünün arttığı sonucuna ulaşılmıştır. Deneme uygulaması gerçekleştirilen makalelerin sayıca az olduğu gözlemlenmiştir. Geçerlik çalışmaları için faktör analizi, güvenirlik çalışmaları için iç tutarlık yöntemi tüm makalelerde tercih edilmiştir. Araştırmanın bulguları ilgili alan yazın ile değerlendirildiğinde ölçek geliştirme ve ölçek uyarlama sürecindeki temel adımların büyük oranda gerçekleştirildiği fakat eksiklik ve hataların olduğu, bu nedenle sürecin tamamına dair hassasiyetin arttırılması önerilmektedir.
In this study, it was aimed to examine the scale development and adaptation articles published in the field of mathematics education between the years of 2015 and 2019. 28 scale development and 16 scale adaptation articles which were published in the 25 journals related to field of education in Turkey were examined by using "Evaluation Form" through content analysis. Regarding scale development and scale adaptation process, it has been observed that the number of articles that lack detailed information and reporting the points such as sampling selection method and missing data is high. In scale adaptation articles, it was concluded that the sample size increases as the number of items increases. Factor analysis for validity and internal consistency method for reliability were preferred in all articles. When the findings of the study were evaluated with the relevant literature, it was concluded that the basic steps in the scale development and scale adaptation process were carried out to a large extent, but there were deficiencies and errors, therefore, it is recommended that the whole process should be carried out meticulously.
