KANT’IN DEİZMİ: WOOD’UN ARGÜMANLARININ BİR ELEŞTİRİSİ

Abstract

Din felsefesi literatüründe ağırlıklı bir yeri olan Tanrı tasavvurları bahsi, pek çok çalışmaya konu olmuştur. Bu tasavvurlar, özünde insanın Tanrı ile olan ilişkisini ihtiva etmektedir. Büyük filozoflar, teologlar, bu sahada etkileri uzun yıllar sü- recek eserler kaleme almışlardır. Alman filozof Immanuel Kant’ın da bu felsefi düşünceye devrim niteliğinde katkıları olmuştur. Düşünürün, özellikle Aydın- lanma düşüncesi içerisinde dine yönelik felsefi mülahazaları görmezden geli- nemez. Bu dönemin neredeyse en belirgin özelliği deistik Tanrı tasavvurunun yaygın bir kabul görmesidir. Bu noktada ünlü Kant uzmanı Allen Wood’un ileri sürmüş olduğu argümanlar, Kant’ın deistik bir Tanrı tasavvuru taşıdığına dairdir. İşbu çalışmada bu argümanların eleştirisi yapılacak ve Kant’ın Tanrı tasavvuru- nun teizme daha yakın olduğu ileri sürülecektir.

The matter of concepts of God, having a wide coverage in literature of religious philosophy, became a subject to many works. These concepts essentially contain the relationship between humanity and The God. Great philosophers and theolo- gians created many works that have been affective in this field for so many years. Immanuel Kant, the German philosopher, also made a revolutionary contribu- tion to this philosophical thought. His religious-oriented philosophical consider- ations especially in Enlightenment thought cannot be ignored. The nearly most significant characteristic of this era is the deistic concept of God having found wide acceptance. At this point, the arguments brought forward by the famous Kant specialist Allen Wood pertain to Kant, him having a deistic concept of God. In this paper, these arguments are going to be criticized and it’s going to be brought forward that Kant’s concept of God being closer to theism.
