Okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik görüşlerinin incelenmesi

Abstract

Okul öncesi eğitim çocuğun gelişimi açısından son derece önemlidir. 0-6 yaş arasını kapsayan bu dönemde çocuk; fiziksel, zihinsel ve sosyal bakımından hızlı bir gelişim gösterir. Çocuğun okul öncesi dönemde bilgisayarla tanışması son derece önemlidir Bu araştırmanın amacı okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırmada nitel araştırma yöntemlerinden içerik analizi, veri toplama aracı olarak yarı yapılandırılmış görüşme formu kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın katılımcı grubunu Sakarya'da görev yapmakta olan 33 okul öncesi öğretmeni oluşturmaktadır. Veriler tümevarım analizi ile çözümlenmiştir. Elde edilen bulgulara göre okul öncesi öğretmenlerinin Bilgisayar destekli eğitime yönelik görüşleri 8 tema altında incelenerek sonuçlar ortaya konmuştur. Araştırmaya katılan öğretmenler; görsel işitsel zenginlik sağlaması, ilgi çekici olması ve el göz koordinasyonunu geliştirmesi açısından bilgisayar destekli eğitimin yararlı olduğunu ifade etmişlerdir. Öğretmenler bilgisayar yazılımlarını okul öncesinde birçok etkinlikte etkin olarak kullandıklarını belirtmişlerdir.

Preschool education is highly important for pediatric development. During this period which covers 0-6 age, a child develops rapid physical, mental and social developments. Child's acquaintance with computer before school age is highly important. The purpose of this study is giving the opinions of the preschool teachers on computer assisted education. In this study, one of the qualitative researching methods, content analysis, and semi-structured interview forms are used to collect the required data. The participant group of the study consists of 33 preschool education teachers who are working in Sakarya. The data of the research are tested through reasoning analysis. The opinions of the preschool teachers on computer assisted education are examined within 8 themes and results are presented according to the gathered findings. The participant teachers indicated that computer assisted education is useful as it provides visual-audial abundance, interesting points and also develops hand-eye coordination. The teachers indicate that they use computer software actively in most activities in preschool education.
