Browsing Yüksek Lisans Tezleri Koleksiyonu by Subject "We have tried to examine in this study, that Foreign Capital movement has been handled in all aspects, only portfolio investment coming from abroad except direct investment, government foreign debt and donations has been handled in Foreign Capital movement. Before we have not started to examine Turkish Financial Markets, foreign capital movement had been viewed generally. Foreign Capital Movement has been defined, what are the reasons coming in or escaping Foreign Capital called hot money from the country have been clearly questioned in this study. Moreover, what kind of markets has been used as agents in the process of coming foreign capital into the country has been searched. With the globalization of capital markets, it was understood that international capital needed secure environments to move all around the world. Therefore, many international agreements have been made between most countries. Multiteral Agreements for Investments -MAI- has been viewed in many aspects in this study. Because the Balance of Payments is the main part of the foreign capital sources, particularly, capital movement section has been explained in details. Istanbul Stock Exchange -IMKB-, The importance of Istanbul Stock Exchange -IMKB- in the International Financial Markets and global world have been surveyed under the separate title in this study since our thesis based on portfolio investment in Turkey. In this case, stocks and bonds consisting of the heavier part of the portfolio investment in Turkey have been handled. In addition, financial crisis theory being one of the most important problems in globalization has been viewed. Southeast Asian Financial Crisis,It's effects on Turkey, what Turkey must learn from this crisis and what have to be done in Turkey have been explained in this study. Finally, the source of the international capital is usually developed countries and the international fund moves from these countries to the developing countries because the owners of the capital wants to benefit from the interest arbitrage and speculative earnings.
