Abstract:
Whether proactive personality affects sexual satisfaction has been included in this research as a subject that has not been considered. It is also an important point of view to what extent body image and sensation seeking will have an impact. This research was conducted to determine the relationships between proactive personality and sexual satisfaction and body image and sensation seeking and the mediating effect of body image and sensation seeking on the relationship between proactive personality and sexual satisfaction. Data were collected from a convenience sample of 320 participants. Data analysis was done with regression and Pearson correlation coefficient. A proactive personality was positively related to sexual satisfaction, and sensation-seeking was negatively related to body image. As a result of the mediation analysis based on regression to determine the mediating effects concluded that body image and sensation-seeking had a mediating effect on the relationship between proactive personality and sexual satisfaction. These results improve our understanding of the underlying mechanism between proactive personality and sexual satisfaction, considering the roles of adults' body perceptions and exciting activities. Those in managerial positions are expected to have a proactive personality. To have a dynamic structure in the workplace and to be more productive, individuals' sexual satisfaction levels should be at a sufficient level. In this study, it was revealed that individuals with high levels of proactive personality also have high levels of sexual satisfaction. In addition, the level of negative perception of body image, which is negatively related to sexual satisfaction, is also negatively related to proactive personality. In addition, among the factors related to the relationship between proactive personality and sexual satisfaction, sensation-seeking has a positive effect, while negative body image has a negative effect.
